Heath and Melissa - Sault, Daylesford
We had been looking forward to our first Daylesford Wedding for a very long time! Heath and Melissa chose the beautiful Sault Restaurant in Daylesford and it was looking great with Autumn in full swing.
When we heard in the speeches that Heath doesn't smile often we were pretty surprised as he hadn't stopped smiling all day, not since he saw his stunning bride Melissa for the first time as she walked down the aisle.
Melissa and the girls got ready at Beacon House Daylesford. Her dress looking amazing hanging in the leadlight bay windows. The girls were very relaxed whilst they got ready, taking the time to have a few champagnes before helping Melissa into her dress. Heath and the boys got ready at their Melissa and Heath's home in Muckleford, which was really peaceful part of Victoria.
The Chapel at Sault was the perfect setting for the intimate ceremony with family and friends. Melissa and the girls rolled up in 1930's Ford hotrods with every eye on her as she walked down the aisle alongside her father.
After the ceremony we were really excited to explore the grounds of Sault for photo opportunities, but we had to work quickly with the sun setting so early at this time of year! With such an amazing location and hilarious bridal party we had no problem making great photos in a short amount of time. We finished the session off with sunset and dusk photos before the guys were announced into the party.
The food at Sault was unbelievable! After everyone had devoured their delicious meals, it was time for Melissa and Heath's first dance. As their first dance finished the The Royce Twins had the dance floor packed with some guests pulling some of the craziest dance moves we have ever seen! We even ducked out for some quick photos with the fountain out the front before it was time for us to leave.
Thank you Melissa and Heath for such a fun day and giving us a chance to shoot in such a beautiful part of the world!
