Maddie and Jayden - Sneak Peek
Flowerdale Estate, Strath Creek
August 20th 2021
Firstly I just want to say how amazing Maddie and Jayden are! They like so many others have been riding the roller coaster of wedding planning and hoping their day could go ahead. Thankfully it did, well kind of.
Maddie and Jayden had plans, lots of them. Most had to be changed, they had guests stuck in lockdown, their photographer was stuck in NSW and even hours before the wedding they had to change ceremony times. Through all of this though they kept smiling and their infectious laughing never stopped.
With the ceremony bought forward to beat the lockdown, Maddie and Jayden were married by the lake at the beautiful Flowerdale Estate. With the rules constantly changing and a few calls to the hotline the decision was made that the reception couldn’t go ahead and all guests would be served their afternoon lunch as takeaway. Some guests had to leave, but with Flowerdale Estate having accomodation the guests who were already booked stayed on in their rooms.
I couldn’t just let Maddie and Jayden have their wedding dinner in their room. So I organised with the help of Flowerdale Estate team, a table, some decorations and a drink for them by the lawn next to the main homestead. This was the perfect spot to soak in the sun and the newly married feels.
Afterwards Maddie and Jayden headed for a walk around the grounds before Jayden grabbed his Volkswagon Beetle for a photo. We were lucky enough to catch a pretty special sunset before I headed off.
Thank you both for the smiles, laughter and tears.
Please Note: Everyone involved in this wedding including myself and the venue worked on the information we had accessible at the time. The rules constantly changed throughout the day and the information provided isn’t always correct.
