Gavin and Natalie planned their winter wedding at the beautiful Lyrebird Falls in the Dandenong Ranges. Gavin is a fellow photographer so we knew had to pull out all stops on Sunday!

Gavin spent the morning at home with his best mates having a few beers and waiting for the wedding cars to arrive. Gavin was all suited up and excited to see the Fords roll into the driveway.

The girls got ready at the Loft in the Mill, their warm socks and robes showed they were ready to make the most of this perfect winter day. Once their hair and makeup was finished they jumped into the cars that had just dropped the boys off to head up to Lyrebird Falls where they would put on their dresses.

The guests wandered around the lush gardens while the bridal party waited inside, only a few walls separated Gavin and Natalie from seeing each other for the first time.

We knew that they were both excited for the moment when Natalie walked down the aisle to Gavin but the look on their faces was so much more than excitement.
The ceremony was touching, with a few laughs and lots of smiles. Before we knew it they were husband and wife, kissing each other to a round of applause from their closest family and friends.

The rainforest that surrounded the venue was so green we just had to get in there and take some photos! It was a little dark and the girls must have been so cold but it was worth it for sure!

The reception started with a bang as Natalie’s brother Michael got the crowd warmed up for the bridal party to be announced. He also had the crowd, and us, in stitches for the rest of the night!

Gavin and Natalie were keen to brave the cold one more time and head out for some photos in the misty night air.

Before we knew it, it was the end of the night and time for these newlyweds to drive off into the darkness.

Thank you guys so much for choosing us to be your photographers!!
