Kate and Kane - Beach Destination Wedding, Byron Bay
Being a photographer doesn't get much better than this! We travelled up to the amazing Byron Bay to photograph Kate and Kane's beach wedding. When they first got in touch to ask if we were interested we didn't even have to think about it, they had us at 'Byron Bay'! What we didn't know at the time was that Kate was Justin's second cousin!!!
We first saw the beautiful beach they had chosen for the ceremony on Wednesday when they had their rehearsal. On Thursday we went to check out the reception venue they had chosen which was Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay and we were blown away! It was a working farm with cows, pigs and chickens surrounded by rolling green hills and stunning views. When Friday came we couldn't wait to get out and start shooting. We caught up with the boys at the Beach Hotel, Byron Bay. The girls were having a great time getting ready when we arrived at their beautiful accomodation!
The ceremony was better than we imagined with perfect weather on the beach just down from Byron Bay. Afterwards we headed towards Three Blue Ducks, stopping to take some photos along the way. As the sun set over the hills the party started! Delicious food, great speeches and plenty of dancing kept things rolling well into the night. We are so glad we could be a part of this wedding!!
