I've been looking forward to Cassie and Tom's wedding for a while now! During all the craziness of 2020 this wedding always seemed like a sure thing to go ahead so I was definitely eager for it to finally be their wedding day!
I started off with Cassie and the girls who got ready at their home in Junortoun. The house was abuzz when I arrived and it wasn't long before the bubbles were popped and the celebrations began! Cassie’s dress looked amazing and had all of the girls speechless when they first saw it.
Tom and the boys got ready in Maiden Gully, I met them in the chapel at Chateau Dore though for some of their final touches and a beer in the gardens before the ceremony. Cassie had organised special socks for all of the boys, but they had also organised some fun socks of their own so they decided to wear both just in case!
As usual the garden was looking amazing for the ceremony, especially with the huge amount of rain the day before. Tom looked pretty happy to see Cassie walking down the aisle. The ceremony was full of laughs, a few tears and many heartfelt moments. After the ceremony the Bridal Party enjoyed some extra special canapes. Tom is a butcher so his family shop supplied all the meat for the wedding which meant everything was absolutely amazing! After spending a bit of time with the Bridal party Cassie and Tom headed off to explore the gardens.
Soon it was time for the Reception! Once again some amazing food was on offer and it was long before it was time for the speeches. I think Tom was dreading this part of the night the most, not from having to talk himself just what everyone else was going to say about him and how much he was going to get stitched up! Thankfully for Tom it wasn’t too bad.
Soon it was time for Cassie and Tom's first dance before we went outside for sunset. The party was in full swing when we returned and everyone was having a great time! Just before I left we snuck down into the cellar for a few photos.
