Jenna and Michael - NYE Wedding

Jenna and Michael stuck it out and I am SO glad they did!!! With all the craziness of 2020 they held on to the hope that their NYE wedding would go ahead, which thankfully it did.
Jenna and the girls got ready at her parents home in Maiden Gully, when I arrived the house was a hive of activity with hair and makeup happening everywhere. Michael and the boys got ready at Pratty Patch, which seemed fitting as that's the exact spot where they met 9 years ago. The boys enjoyed a few beers as they suited up in the bar.
Jenna and Michael wanted to see each other before the wedding, so Michael went out the back of the Pratty's Patch Pub to wait for Jenna, however Jenna had stitched him up and sent Michael's Best Man Jake wearing a dress to tap him on the shoulder. This was super funny and set the tone of fun for the day. The event was all the more special as their kids Rori and Zarah were there all day.
We made our way to Waratah in Huntly stopping a few times for photos along the way. By the time we arrived to Waratah most of the guests had arrived and were enjoying a drink in the amazing gardens. The ceremony was going perfectly until Michael made the mistake of saying awful wife instead of lawful wife during his vows. Thankfully Jenna thought this was hilarious and married him anyway!!
As the ceremony was later in the day Jenna and Michael were able to enjoy the drinks and lawn games with their guests, it was such a beautiful afternoon. Inside the reception the hall was looking amazing with florals everywhere!!
Jenna and Michael wanted to spend a little extra time and watch the last sunset of the year from a better vantage point, so we went to a little spot just up the road. Thankfully it was one of the best sunsets of the year! When we got back the party was in full swing with people dancing. Jenna and Michael had organised some sparklers for Rori and Zarah as they were heading off, everyone headed outside and the kids loved it walking through all of the sparklers.
A little closer to the end of the evening everyone headed outside to count the new year in! Just after midnight Ryan from Knot setup a mini acoustic station outside and continued to play for everyone taking way too many requests for Horses.
Thank you Jenna and Michael for being so resilient in such a tumultuous year. I was looking forward to celebrating NYE 2020 and sending off the year with you for so long and I'm so thankful you kept your date! Congratulations!!
