Lucy and Lauchlan - NYE Sneak Peek

What a great way to send off 2021 with Lucy, Lauchlan and their New Years Eve farm wedding! Lucy grew up in Warracknabeal so it was the perfect spot to hold the days events.

Lauchlan and the boys had a pretty chill morning getting ready in town while Lucy and the girls got ready at her parents home only a few minutes away.

The ceremony was held in the Warracknabeal Uniting Church where Lucy’s late Nan was very involved. Lucy even drove herself to the wedding in her late nan’s car which was a great way to kick things off. Minister Kevin Barton kept things light hearted throughout the ceremony as Lucy and Lauchlan made it all official.

It wouldn’t of been a Wimmera wedding if it wasn’t a little hot! After the ceremony we chased some shade down by the creek to try and cool down and even stopped in at the Creekside Pub so Lucy and Lachlan could enjoy some time with their guests, we soon headed out to the farm where the reception was held for photos before the guests arrived.

The reception was held in the shearing shed on the farm and it was the perfect spot for a fun night! Lucy’s Maid of Honour sung a pretty awesome song about Lucy and Lauchlan with the help of her husband on guitar, this had everyone singing along. Lucy and Lauchlan snuck out to the paddock for a photo under the stars before we headed back inside for the party. The Baker Boys band had everyone up and about as they danced in the New Year!
