Haylee and Ben - Sneak Peek

Fortuna Villa - Bendigo
February 26 2021

Friday was one of those days where it felt like I was hanging out with old friends all day! I started with the boys who were getting ready at Haylee and Ben's place. When I arrived Ben's freshly restored XY Falcon was proudly sitting out the front getting plenty of attention from everyone as they walked by. Ben has had the car for over 15 years and had only just finished it the day before the wedding. As the boys got ready there was plenty of banter, a few shots and lots of laughs.

Soon I was off to catch up with Haylee and the girls who had chosen to get ready at Fortuna Villa in the massive master room on the top floor. The girls all seemed pretty excited and there were equally as many giggles here as the boys. The room was filled with beautiful light overlooking the stunning ceremony area that Haylee had organised with all the flowers! Haylee works at The Petal Factory so as you can imagine the floral arrangements were stunning here and at every location throughout the day!

The ceremony was super quick as Haylee and Ben had decided to do something a little different! Earlier that day Haylee and Ben had written down their vows for each of them to read before the ceremony. This meant everything was done and it was time for a group photo. Earlier in the week Haylee and Ben had organised with me that they wanted to make an announcement to everyone... So after my last group photo, Ben announced to everyone that Haylee is pregnant!!! This bought heaps of hugs, a few tears and lots of cheers from everyone.

We soon headed off with the Bridal Party for some drinks, Haylee and Ben had a little ice cream cart which was tasty! Fortuna Villa is quite an amazing place, we explored the gardens, the tunnel, pool, lake and I don't think we even saw half of it during the photo session! Thankfully we had plenty of time to relax with the Bridal Party which provided plenty of laughs for all.

Haylee and Ben were welcomed into the reception with a big cheer from the crowd in the formal dining room. The evening was super relaxing with some touching speeches. We were lucky enough to catch a pretty epic sunset on the steps as the guests moved down to the Red Room for the rest of the evening. This was where Haylee and Ben had their first dance and from there the party was going! I set up one last photo in the pool and it was time to head home!

Thank you both so much for making me feel so comfortable, I truly had a great time!!
